I am speaking at a conference this fall in Seattle. The only thing I know about the city is that it rains a lot. I would appreciate any advice or ideas on what to do there, where to stay, etc.

The freedom trail in Boston rules!

When your’e in Boston-be sure to check out the “Freedom Trail”. The whole trail takes a few hours and takes you through some of Boston’s many historical sites. If you don’t have a whole lot of time visit the “Constitution” an old iron ship that is also part of the “Freedon Trail”and a great free tour.  Hotels and tourist information centers can give you a map of where to go.

How to get tickets to David Letterman in New York

On my last day in Chicago I discovered Lincoln Park. Wow, talk about hot chicks and fun bars! Its just north of the downtown area, ask anyone and they can give you directions. If you want to check out the young trendy scene, Lincoln Park is it.
 

In Chicago for a conference, what to do?

Just finished up the International IIA conference in Chicago. Didn’t have much free time, but the downtown area was really nice. The conference was held at the Hyatt. The hotel has huge conference space, I was very impressed.

Hotels marketed to female business travelers

I read an article in Newsweek how several hotels have put in “women only” wings. I also noted that the rates were pretty high, has anyone stayed at one of these hotels? Were the amenities really worth the higher price tag?
